DESCRIPTION:From the City of Coronado’s City Manager Newsletter: \nA Memorial Day service will be held at 10 a.m.\, on Monday\, May 30\, at Star Park. The annual service\, sponsored by the Coronado VFW Post 2422; the Marine Corps League\, Coronado Detachment; United States Navy League; and the Military Officers Association of America\, Silver Strand Chapter\, honors fallen military. The event is free and open to the public. Those with mobility issues are asked to arrive early and bring something to sit on as seating will be limited. After the event\, the VFW invites attendees to enjoy refreshments at its post at 557 Orange Avenue.
